Yinkun Expressway (formerly G85 Chongqing-Kunming Expressway, involving Xundian County, Songming County, Airport Economic Zone, Economic Development Zone, Chenggong District and High-tech Zone).Kunming area of Yinkun Expressway is composed of Xundian section, Kunsong section and Huang Ma section. Xundian section has become the main passage between Sichuan and Chongqing, and Kunsong section and Huang Ma section have realized the rapid traffic connection between Kunming International Airport and the urban agglomeration around Dianchi Lake. The function of road traffic artery has become increasingly prominent, the traffic flow has increased day by day, and traffic accidents have also shown a trend of high incidence. Among them, Xundian section (Dabaoshan Tunnel to Xiaopu Interchange) has a total length of 72.5 kilometers, with large traffic flow, complex road alignment and long bends and slopes. The three tunnels along Gongshan No.1 and No.2 and Dabaoshan are curved tunnels, which have great security risks. The Kunsong section is 51.47 kilometers long, and the downlink Shaoguan and Diantou junction interchanges are located in the middle of a 9.5-kilometer continuous downhill slope. The control distance between the two interchanges is short, and the distance between the entrances and exits of the four ramps is close. The road alignment is complex, and the traffic guidance, indication and warning signs on the whole line are incomplete, resulting in outstanding safety hazards.

2. Kunmo Expressway (involving Guandu District and Chenggong District).From K4+900M to K26+100M of Kunming-Mohe Expressway, since the Mingquan Toll Station was cancelled at 0: 00 on July 16th, 2017, the traffic management form has changed greatly, from a fully enclosed expressway to an open urban expressway, and it carries a large traffic flow connecting the main urban area and Chenggong New Urban Area, with an average daily traffic flow of more than 140,000 vehicles, which is prone to traffic congestion and traffic accidents.

3. Hu-Rui Line (involving Songming County, Airport Economic Zone, Economic Development Zone, Guandu District, Xishan District, Anning City, one county, four districts and one city).The Kunming section of Hu-Rui Line (National Highway 320) starts from Songming County and ends at Anning City, with a total length of 135 kilometers, covering the first, second and third-class highways and urban roads. The road sections along the line are characterized by large traffic volume, complex alignment, dense villages and towns and many openings, which are prone to traffic accidents.
Tips:Urban roads are densely populated in villages and towns, and there are many openings. Pay attention to observe the deceleration and yield; Rural roads are steep and narrow, so please drive carefully at low speed. It is forbidden to overtake and rob the meeting.
4. Luda Highway (Luquan County).Luda Highway is a high-grade transportation corridor between Yunnan Province and Sichuan Province, with a total length of 96.54 kilometers. It is a second-class highway, with a subgrade width of 10 to 12 meters and a designed driving speed of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour. It passes through five towns of Pingshan, Maoshan, Tuanjie, Sayingpan and Jiaopingdu, and goes directly to wudongde hydropower station, a national key project. Because there are many forks along the highway, large freight vehicles travel frequently, and traffic markings are seriously worn and safe.
Tips:Due to the alternating seasons, some sections are prone to fog and ice, the road surface is slippery, and there are many openings along Luda Highway. Please control the speed and drive carefully.
5. Longdongge Highway (Dongchuan District).Longdongge Highway has a total length of 95 kilometers, of which the section from K0 to K18 kilometers of Longdong Highway starts from Longtan to Awang Town, with the highest elevation of 2,100 meters. This section is a continuous steep and long downhill section, built on a mountain, with asphalt concrete pavement, a road width of 8.5 meters, no intermediate isolation facilities, long and steep slopes, icy roads in winter, slippery roads in rainy and foggy days in summer, and the task of accident prevention and control is arduous.
Tips:This section has a steep bend and a long slope. In winter, it is affected by the cooling weather. Some sections of the road are wet and slippery, which is prone to fogging and freezing. Rollover, car crash and collision accidents are frequent. Please slow down and drive carefully, and do not take up the opposite lane to overtake the meeting.
6. Songdai Secondary Highway (involving Xundian County and Dongchuan District).The total length of Songdai Secondary Highway (Gongshan Toll Station to Bainijing No.2 Tunnel) is 21.26 kilometers, which is a continuous long downhill section (it is 2504.411 meters above sea level at K77+800M and 1891.888 meters above sea level at K57, with a height difference of 612.532 meters), with a maximum longitudinal slope of 7% and a transverse slope of 2.5%. There are 34 overpasses in the jurisdiction. This section connects Dongchuan and Huize, with a large traffic flow. In addition, due to poor road alignment and insufficient road infrastructure, especially traffic safety protection facilities, traffic accidents are prone to occur, and major accidents occur from time to time. In 2013, the section from K57 to K78 of Songdai Secondary Highway was listed as one of the top ten dangerous sections in China by the Ministry of Public Security.
Tips:Affected by alternate seasons, the road is foggy, some sections are easy to freeze, and the road surface is slippery. The section from K57 to K78 of Songdai Secondary Highway is a 21-kilometer downhill section, which is connected by bridges and tunnels. Heavy trucks entering Kunming should pay attention to check the vehicle condition in advance, and braking for a long time during driving will easily lead to brake failure, so choose a low gear to slow down, and it is strictly forbidden to slide in neutral or stall; Two-way traffic section, the speed is fast, please pay attention to the opposite vehicle, and don’t blindly meet and overtake in corners.
7. Huanhu East Road and Huanhu South Road (involving Guandu District, Chenggong District, Resort and Jinning District).Huanhu East Road and Huanhu South Road are urban expressways. Huanhu East Road starts from Hubin Road in Guandu District and ends at Haiyan Village in the resort, with a total length of 24.2 kilometers. Huanhu South Road starts from Haiyan Village in the resort and ends at the intersection of Gaohai Expressway and Lao ‘anjin Highway, with a total length of 39.3 kilometers. The road is 24 meters wide, and along the way, there are leisure scenic spots around Dianchi Lake, such as Fubao Cultural City, Baofeng Wetland Park, Dounan Flower Market, Laoyuhe Wetland Park, Gudian Boutique Wetland Park, Dongdahe Wetland Park and Nandianchi Beach Park. Because of the good road traffic conditions and fast speed, and the dense villages and towns along the line, vehicles often go retrograde and pedestrians cross the road, which is easy to induce traffic accidents.

8. Jiu Shi A Highway (involving Shilin County and Yiliang County).As a second-class provincial highway, traffic accidents are frequent due to the dense villages along the route, many road openings, roadside branches affecting the effective pavement and blocking traffic signs, complicated traffic conditions and other factors, as well as road water accumulation, landslides and other reasons that are easy to cause accidents. In 2016, there was a mountain collapse in K91km section, and the eastern slope of K92+320M to K92+380M section was also at risk of large-scale collapse at any time, posing serious safety hazards.
Tips:There are many villages and openings along the way. In winter, due to the influence of weather cooling, the roads are foggy and easy to freeze, and the roads are slippery, resulting in many opposite collisions. Please be vigilant and drive carefully when passing through this road. Please slow down on the curved road section and don’t occupy the road to grab the line. Pay attention to the observation when passing through the K91-K92 km Guishan section. Please pass carefully and don’t stop.
9. Jiaozishan Special Highway (involving Wuhua District, Fumin County, Xundian County and Luquan County).Kunming Jiaozishan Tourist Dedicated Line Highway is a trunk highway connecting Kunming urban area and Jiaozishan tourist scenic spot, with a total length of 151.92 kilometers, which is a road network connecting line of Jiaozishan tourist scenic spot built according to the second-and third-class standards. The special line passes through 9 townships (sub-district offices) in Wuhua District, Fumin County, Xundian County and Luquan County along the way. Since it was completed and put into trial operation on December 12, 2012, the supporting traffic infrastructure and safety management facilities are not perfect and standardized, and the roads along the line, especially in Wuhua District and Fumin County, have many openings and pass through many villages, resulting in frequent traffic accidents.

10. Kunming East Ring Expressway (involving Panlong District and Economic Development Zone).Kunming East Ring Expressway was opened to traffic on December 28, 2006. It starts from the north of Wulong Village and connects with Xiaolong (Hangrui) Expressway, and ends at Guangfu Road in the south, crossing the south connecting line, with a total length of 25.482 kilometers. There are 29 large, medium and small bridges, including 5 overpasses and 2 extra-large bridges, connecting four expressways, including Hangrui, Shantou-Kunming, Kunming-Mo and Changshui Airport Expressway. There are six motor vehicle lanes and two emergency lanes in the East Ring Expressway. Because it is located in the suburban junction, there are many bridge entrances, and pedestrians and non-motor vehicles will mistakenly enter the expressway. In addition, the traffic conditions are good and the speed is fast, which has potential safety hazards.
